MECASOFT INC. ("Autogapp", "we", "us", or "our") provides cloud-based garage management software for automotive repair businesses and service teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Autogapp.

Information We Collect

When a business creates an Autogapp account, we may collect account and company information such as name, company name, email address, phone number, business tax number, subscription details, and service settings. Autogapp users may also enter customer, vehicle, work order, invoice, estimate, job card, inventory, SMS, and related business data into the platform.

Customer and Vehicle Data

Autogapp acts as a software provider. Each business user is responsible for the personal information and vehicle information they collect from their own customers, including lawful collection, consent, use, disclosure, retention, and deletion. Autogapp is not responsible for how a business user collects, shares, or uses its own customer data.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the service, manage accounts and subscriptions, provide support, process payments, deliver notifications, improve security, maintain backups, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. Payment card data is not stored on Autogapp servers. Stripe stores and processes payment method information according to Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.

Integrations

Autogapp may use third-party services such as Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS communications, DeepSeek AI for optional text assistance, and other service providers required to operate platform features. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the related service.

Storage and Backups

Data is stored on secure cloud servers. Backups may be stored in the United States. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Data Access, Changes, and Deletion

Business users may update or delete their data through the application where available or by contacting support. After account termination, data may be retained for up to 30 days for backup, recovery, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal purposes, unless a longer period is required by law.
